Ask Lazyweb: Wireless Print Server?

Has anyone had any experience with a wireless print server? I have a USB printer (Samsung ML-2010) connected to my desktop, but my desktop's wireless connection is flaky. I also don't relish leaving the desktop on 24/7 when we primarily need printing nights and weekends. A refurbished Netgear WGPS606 has a very attractive feature set at a great ( Read more... )

Yes, but my cable modem and my printer are not in the same room, so I can't use it as both a router and a print server. Even if it can be used as a standalone print server, it's a bit costly for one.

I had the same problem for the longest time. I went through several different models before I could find one that worked. Yeah. If I had a jack in the same room as the printer, I would've already made the Cube the print server. Maybe you can recommend a good wireless bridge instead?
