I love this--absolutely love it! You turn it into an understated good-bye--they have that history, but they're different people now, and they don't really know each other, or want to. It's--

It's really something I can relate to, first off, and I think other people as well: people grow apart. And you get that across on an entirely different way, and, yes, it's not in-your-face obvious, you just know that this is it and they're never meeting again, and just--it's gorgeous! Touching, sad, but logical and just the natural consequence of where they've gone, which makes it somehow--it's inevitable, and that makes it also something you can accept, the way they've both accepted it, and just--
