...And, yeah, not really a pairing, huh? XD I have no idea where it came from but, hey! I'm actually totally in love with the pairing, too, and I'll probably wright more whenever I have the chance.
Scavenger's description makes me skee. And I love Mixmaster...all of them were really neat though.
Thank you! I really wanted to give a few of the Constructicons really different physical appearances, so Scavenger got spikes and Mixmaster got pointy bits and six eyes and Hook got four arms.
And, yeah, Mixmaster and Scavenger were my two favorites to write, too. They're so much fun! In very different ways. But I love writing someone who's totally unrepentantly crazy, and that's Mixmaster in a nutshell, and then Scavenger is just plain adorable...
But anyways!
Thank you!
And the way you did it made it actually very plausible. *happy wiggling*
And, again, thank you so much! This is a major sticking point for me--I really really want my romance to be plausible, more than anything else. So thanks!
words do not do justice to the awesomeness of this fic. you took the little girl love i already had for the constructicons (from back when i really was a little girl) and cranked it up to something a little more grown up.
this was some incredible work. i bow to your awesomeness.
This is the longest fic I've read in one sitting in a very, very long time. But I couldn't stop reading! And now it's almost 3:00am here. D:
How dare you keep me awake with your awesomeness!
I've always been a little more indifferent to Ratchet and the Constructicons in comparison to all my other favorite characters who hog up entirely too much of my attention. So that being said, I still really really this. Damn good cake!
The work that you must have put into this story is astonishing. Holy crumpets, author!
What a wonderful build up. <3 Ratchet just sort of slips into an easy familiarity. Nothing hurried, nothing rushed. Just.. a very natural progression

And thank you so much!!! I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed the story so much!

It was a lot of work--not that it was particularly hard to write, but there was just so much of it! (I blame the challenge--the more unlikely the pairing, or the harder to set up, the more obsessive I get about trying to make it realistic...) Basically, I wrote almost every day this month, for several hours each day. I ran out of time for editing, too... ^_^; But it was fun, in the end! Even if it might have kind of killed me! *is dead*

Eeee, thank you!!! This is totally what I was going for--I hate rushed relationships, especially inter-faction ones. ^_^ And I mean, most love isn't at-first-sight, right? Or expected. It just--happens. So I usually try to write it like that--

Awesomeness on a stick
Thank you for this. Someone wrote my first favortite...well I can't really call it a 'pairing', right?
And you did it so well...Scavenger's description makes me skee. And I love Mixmaster...all of them were really neat though.

It's a huge compliment to hear that you love the fic even thought it's not your usual favorite characters, so thank you so much!
