(So far we know they are both grounders, one of them is grey, and most likely it's inter-faction.)

Yup, both grounders.
Nope - Wolves only see in greyscale :P
Yup, definitely interfaction.
And I don't do hints very well ;) How bout the two main colours on them are actually white and green.

Hm. Well.
Decepticon grounder can either mean Stunticon or Constructicon. Or some o the Combaticons. Of this, I suppose it's a Constructicon. (Or Runabout, but I suppose it's not him.)
A white Autobot grounder is a lot more challenging. Jazz, Prowl, Bluestreak, Ratchet, most Protectobots...... (If it's Runabout, green - that's either Hound or Hoist)
