I liked this. Reminded me of the scene in the ongoing when they're trying to revive Prime back on Cybertron and Ratchet pines for the "old Perceptor", the one who's more scientist than sniper. This was an interesting look at how people have changed after the war. Also, love the idea that to Perceptor, Ratchet's hands contain no trace of their previous owner.

AO3 has spoiled me. I wanna hit a kudos button for this!

I so wanted to put in some little bit (but it would have been a digression, and I was having a hard enough time keeping on track...not to mention running out of time on the challenge... ^^;) about Ratchet telling Perceptor that he knew Perceptor had gone in there and fiddled with Prime at that point - some little helpful repair to Prime's energy systems maybe, the kind of repair that would occur to Perceptor as being just the push Prime's own self-repair needed - without impugning Ratchet's abilities! Perce, in my mind, went in, did his little twiddle and jogged back out to stand watch up on the wall again. He's such the antithesis of Brainstorm, really not in it to be hailed and recognized. <3 Okay, I'm really fond of Perceptor... ;D
