These are only excerpts... I think those words are the best part of this as it means there is more.
Love how these show Ratchet working out how to survive amongst the gladiators without revealing who he is. And how they respect him, in the beginning for his medical talents, but later for the fact that he can probably kick half their afts.
And his relationship with Megatron... wonderfully realised, honest respect and that hint of possessiveness from Megs and the slow realisation that the Megatron here isn't the power hungry Warlord that he's known.
Be glad I have no idea where you live as I would happily come and camp outside to wait for more :P

Ratchet totally ended up being the prized pet/mascot of most of the Kaon gladiators. "He's our medic - and he kicks aft! :D :D :D" They thought he was awesome. The refrain of "HOW is this my life?!" was pretty constant for awhile as Ratchet did a lot of facepalming.

The realization that Megatron wasn't currently and didn't have to be the blood thirsty megalomaniac was slow in getting there and has a lot of fits and starts along the way. Ratchet has a lot of really unpleasant memory associations to get over. :P

Okay, I have a fever, but that is not why I'm utterly burning up right now! Primus yes akjlf;ljadfjklafl;afjkllalkafjlk;ads!! That last section could not have been any hotter without melting my laptop. In fact, I think it did!

And then the rest, so superbly written. You get the technical stuff in there so elegantly without bogging the story down, just making it feel real and robotic and alien and all the things that make me utterly pant with praise.

The scene where Ratchet spars, and gets his frame saw in action? akjldfs;adkls;fkl;asdljkf!

So so so much to love here. More please *whimpers*

[hugs!!] Oh no! I'm sorry you're feeling bad, but thank you for reading and I'm glad you like it! ^_^ LOL... the last part was totally the first one I wrote (and I think it shows by being the best bit - there was a LARGE binge of speed writing right on the last day for everything else).

That big frame saw bayverse!Ratchet has is just sexy. I had to borrow it. ^___^

In my defense, this is the first of my own prompts that I've started and there's nothing that says you can't, so I don't feel too bad. ^_^ (though man, I still really want like burning to see what other people would do with it.
