Very interesting. I find Hound's POV more compelling, simply because it's more conflicted in it's own way (and I like wiping out humanity, but that's my kink). Spike's utter innocence to what was going on is very in character to me.

It'd be interesting to know if any of Spike's descendants thought anything might be off with Hound ... and I'm curious when Daniel's primary friendship shifted from Rodimus to Hound, and if Daniel was the only kid Spike had.

Thanks :) I love writing first times, and Spike is very innocent and trusting. I think I'm going to continue this and explore those very questions. A big one in my mind right now is whether Spike is one of those off planet survivors (his lifespan extended technologically somehow), and why Daniel stayed on Earth. Yes, I wondered about the Rodimus bit, too, though I figured he became much busier once he was no longer Hot Rod. Then there is the Arcee Daniel connection. Hrmmmmm

That's great - I love 1P fics well written, and that is just so in character and like Spike talking. And giving a really honest, matter of fact account - Spike style - of just what the sex was like! (It also keeps the G1 spirit wonderfully) XD

Really interesting factual info and concepts too - especially the 'biosphere guardian' one. I had been toying of late with a similar type role for Beachcomber :-) But that's really interesting to have Hound doing it, and with a few "upgrades and a bit of code" to make him a scout :D

And ideas about wider issues - like environmental ones - surrounding the presence of Transformers on Earth are always good to read about :-)

Thank you! I really do love writing Spike, as annoying as he could be in the original. The more I write him, the more I love his innocent and his utter confidence that he can help out his big friends.

I've been thinking about Beachcomber, too. I'd like to continue this, and want to somehow include him. I wonder if he'll figure out what Hound has done (referencing the companion story).
