I like this threesome. Or.. well, twosome, sadly... There's so much tension and blame from Arcee, and so much remorse and loneliness from Ratchet. They both feel guilty for Cliffjumper, for out-living him, and that kind of guilt can drive apart the remaining two... if they let it. Their balancer is gone, sure, the equalizer, but they can still lean on each other for comfort, and for remembrance.

This is supposed to be apart of the challenge. This ain't necessarily my favorite pairing for this 'verse, I'm still pushing for Prime/Ratchet, but I'd like to think I didn't do too bad.

Oh very nicely done! You really captured their tone for me, and how Ratchet is so much more than a snark factory (even though I love his snark). Very tender at the end, and hopeful.
