okay, so it's later than i thought it would be when i put the challenge up, but it took me four hours to code all the HTML for the songs and find lyrics for some of them. however the February Challenge is here!!

Suspect this might be a typo, but could also be an interesting twist on things:

"the premise is pretty simple: make music or art based on/inspired by one of the songs on the claim list."

I'm guessing you meant fic or art, but a techno remix collection could be pretty awesome too...

lol, yes, that's a typo. i did the whole challenge under the influence of a migraine, so i'm amazed that's all i screwed up, honestly. i'll get that fixed, though you're right about a techno remix being pretty cool.

I don't see anything about length there so I'm guessing it doesn't matter this round? (or at least keep it over 100 words)

I'm in dire need for beta.

Two stories done for the challenge, one ready, the other still needs some editing.

Can I ask on the community itself? I'm kinda between rock and a hard place.

ETA: Or should i post unbetaed and ask for beta then?

i don't mind if you post asking for a beta on the comm as long as you delete the post after you've gotten a response.

also i don't see a problem with you posting unbetaed to meet the deadline.
