The November Do It Yourself Challenge is officially over!! Thanks to everyone who participated. Amnesty day will be Dec. 7th, which is your only remaining chance to qualify for the participation banner if you missed your post date.
Now, onto the December Challenge!
Your theme for December 2010 is: Spotlight: Minibots!
the Spotlight: Minibots challenge will go like this:
Step 1: Submit prompts to the prompt post. This step is completed as of today. You guys put in some great prompts.
Step 2: Make a claim. Claiming involves choosing a minibot from the provided list, pairing them with ANYONE (because no one commonly writes any of the minibots paired with anyone currently), and choosing a prompt from the provided list. Please use the following format for your claim:
Minibot:
Partner:
Prompt:
2a: Claiming is not dependent on having submitted any prompts. Even if you thought of no prompts at all, it's perfectly fine to make a claim and produce a piece. Likewise, submitting prompts does not mean that you are required to make a claim.
2b: Yes, if you are so inclined, you may come back and make another claim and produce another piece after you finish your first. ^_^
Step 3: Create your piece. Art can be any medium, written works need to be at least 500 words longs. Yes, you may collaborate, but only one member of the team need make the claim and your partner needs to be stated in the claim along with the other required information.
Step 4: Post. All entries are due by 11:59PM CST on Dec. 31st. Yes, New Year's Eve. And yes, if someone tells me their holidays have gotten out of controll, i'll consider an Amnesty Day for this challenge as well. I'm flexible. ;)
