[TFA Optimus Prime]
yo. closed thread. yeah?
*He wasn't sure how he ended up here. Actually, he wasn't even completely sure where he was. Blinking, Optimus scanned the area once before transforming into his root mode to look around. Yeah. He totally had no idea where he was. At least it wasn't a bright, clear and sunny day. That would have been

[On a quest to find Optimus, setting out from the last place Optimus had been seen. But that information was from a Decepticon, after all. He has no idea AT ALL where he is, or where anything is, where the mechs he met were. He's in a desert now--the desert is great. There are like no organics here. That's something. It's been forever and there's no one around, no Optimus, no one who can--
Wait, there's someone up ahead. Transforming, Sentinel does the honourable thing and walk up to this mech, intending to inquire about Optimus...and possibly ask for directions. It's dark, so he keeps his headlights dim. No need to blind the other mech. That would be, well, bad.]
Good ev--
[Sentinel stops himself. ...Optimus? Hey hey! He was pretty good at this questing stuff. And that stupid Decepticon flier had lied to him, Optimus hadn't even been kidnapped. Typical.]
Heeeeey, Optimus. Glad I found you. There's, uh, lots of organics here. Could be trouble.

*The first sign he isn't alone is the sudden light of another set of headlights. Not his own, of course, they're not on. He turns around, alarmed, only to have it be Sentinel.
Wait, Sentinel?
Optimus blinks, almost forgetting what he was doing here out in the middle of the barren desert. One thing Sentinel makes himself useful for, after all.*
Uh, Sentinel. I'm more worried about the.. mechs...

Heh. The mechs here aren't anything to worry about, Optimus.
[Sentinel takes out his lance, and does some admittedly impressive twirls and thrusts with it.]
Nothing I can't handle. And, uh...
[Swallows his pride.]
Uh, nothing you can't handle, I guess.

*Surprisingly, seeing Sentinel wasn't throwing him into a worse mood than before. Somehow, Sentinel could always be depended on to do one thing - be Sentinel. And sometimes it was bad, sometimes it was terrible and no one could stand to be around it.
But he was a constant, and with the flickering of a Decepticon warlord's unstable consciousness on the edge of his own, constant was a good thing.
Optimus watched Sentinel handle his weapon impressively, coming just short of actually smiling. Someone had a rather large slice of humble pie.*
Yes, Sentinel. Most of the mechs here are nothing to worry about, but there are some that we should be concerned of.
*He had to try to keep from reaching up to rub at the collar still attached to his neck, cycling his vents in a sigh.*
I ran into one just now. Do you think you could find your way back the way you came, Sentinel? I need to find a medic.
