Let's see if this batch is more rabid than my last one.
1. Transformers don't wear paint. If they did, you wouldn't see them turn gray when they died. They only use the term since it was the first word they came across to describe the colorful outer layer of machines.
2. Wheeljack learns that there were some actually very small dinosaurs. He then convinces Ratchet to undertake another project. Introducing the mini-Dinobots. Frustration abounds, and they're nicknamed The Anklebiters.
3. Following a similar line of thought.
Wheeljack: "Prime, I uh... I..." *wrings hands* "IaccidentallyshranktheDinobots."
4. The Insecticons discover
Crane Flies. There are Decepticons that are cranes.
5. Hook learns about a certain, notorious, fictional pirate captain. (From Peter Pan, in case my thoughts aren't clear enough.)
6. The Coneheads learn about the movie
Coneheads.
7. Coyote the Trickster is curious about these new shape-shifting beings from the stars, so he takes the form of a transformer to get closer and satisfy his curiosity. After he introduces himself sans trickster title to the Autobots and has interacted with them for a while he learns of Sideswipe's self-proclaimed title of Prankster(trickster) King.
This will not do.
Coyote: "A word, if you please."
Sideswipe: "Yeah?"
Coyote: *slings an arm around Sides' shoulders*" What's this I hear about you as the Prank King?"
S: "Hey. I haven't done anything to yah, so don't go blaming me for something I didn't do."
C: *waves hand* "That's not the issue, that's not the issue." *dark look* "My problem is your claiming a title that doesn't belong to you."
8. There is an island in the
Kermadec's called Raoul. Does that make him a human avatar of the island? Is he from the island? Or does he own it?
9. [07Movie] The destruction of the allspark released broken spark creating energies that triggered changes in every living thing for miles. Some organic life slowly but surely were turning into something akin to cybertronian life. Others died gruesome deaths. But as it was, those that survived, their lives were fragile, their alt-modes painfully simple, and every single one needed a cybertronian-born to support them.
Yet not all mechs had the physical disposition do so, and many of those that did, found themselves supporting a good half-dozen each because there were too many of these new cybertronians and too few available to support them all to worry about lessening the load. Soon a new name was used to describe these strange new non-cybertronians. Introducing, movieverse cassettes.
(evolved from a bunny before I could write it down that had it impossible for humans be turned into full-sized mechs or even minibots, and that they can only become cassettes. Mostly from trying to make my brain break less while contemplating all the human-turned-cybertronian fics out there.)
10- ?: "I know that happens, I'm doubtful it's true in this case."
?: "Just suggesting."
?: "I know, I'm inserting obligatory denial."
