I've seen the word used to describe preteen/teen cybertronians. I think it's a fanon term (like sparkling for babies/toddlers).

But Cybertronians are built adult.

I never said it was canon. Sparklings/Younglings are fanon. Some people like to think they mature as they age and aren't just there one day all of a sudden filling a duty shift.

Re: #6, in a fic I'm working on (movieverse), there's a human character working with Prowl on the easiest possible way of 'registering' everyone. Or at least getting them semi-valid license plates. ^^;
