I'd love to see six, as for nine... Two-Face as a more schozophrenic punch/counterpunch who's still arguing with himself?

I considered Punch/Counterpunch as an example but they don't know each other exists, whereas Two-Face/Harvey is aware of his alternate personality. I'm glad you liked six. Hopefully someone will roll with it.

1. Inspired by Prowl being forced into the Constructicons, what if gestalt members were easily interchangeable? In that, if a member wasn’t working out, he or she could be kicked out and replaced with a different mech or femme. The Combaticons would probably love to get rid of Swindle if they could. Motormaster would probably be tempted to swap out his whole team and get one of his choosing.

The ‘Con gestalts would probably forcibly recruit other members, even incorporating ‘Bot prisoners as a means of forcing them into the Decepticon cause. Also, I’m imagining teamleaders holding auditions to replace someone they wanted to kick out. “So what makes you qualified to serve as a leg?”

Alternately, what if Prowl had been forced into the Stunticons or the Combaticons instead?

This would be really funny to see. One thing that occurs to me is Starscream trying out (why I don't know) and getting kicked out of audition before he can do anything.
