Because I have recently been reading a lot of Sailor Moon fanfic, I can't help but wish for a good crossover or two (besides Magical!Bots, which is a great series). So I present a couple of bunnies with that in mind: ( 'So instead of youma, we're fighting Decepticons?' )

*snorts* Oh, I so can picture number 2; you just know Simmons will say something snarky about little girls flashing innocent bystanders and tuxedo clad wannabe heroe, and Leo... Well, he's a teenage male, and so is Sam. Me think he will easily imagine Mikaela in a sexy Sailor outfit ;)
And the magic... it will broke their brains; 'cause, giant robots from outer space, they can handle, but actual magic?

BTW, I did write two Sailor Moon/Transformers crossovers, but... I wrote them in french. I could always translate them, but since I'm pretty busy with school work, I'm afraid it'll take a while.

Yes, comments about Tuxedo Kamen would abound as well, especially from Simmons, though I can also see plenty from Leo... and Skids and Mudflap as well. I'd imagine Mamoru would be insisting on riding with Bee in defense.

On the issue of magic, if it's a version of Earth where the Senshi are already established and have years of history in Japan, it may not be quite so unbelievable. On the other hand, Americans - especially ones like Simmons - may have refused to believe these Japanese superheros are really using magic to fight their battles, so it's still a bit of a surprise to find out that yes, Tuxedo Kamen and the Senshi really do use magic.

Well if you do translate them, I'd be very glad to read them.

me too. I'd love to read them. I've read the magical bots series and love it, but it's too weird for my husband, who's a bigger SM fan than me.

#3 makes me giggle most immaturely, because the first thing that came to mind was Sparkling Generation Valkyrie Yuuki, followed by Misfile. Poor Sam. ^_^

(Sadly, I don't know enough about the Senshi to do more than giggle madly at Magical!Bots.)

I think Sam's first big worry as a Senshi would be does he have to wear a short skirt, and the second, if not a short skirt, does he have to wear a tuxedo?

Then after hearing about the Sailor Starlights' apparent gender switching (they disguised themselves as men, only to turn into women when they transformed to their senshi forms) if he's going to go through the same.

Pure win! If only because it would be so much fun! Though I honestly think he'd still be with Mikeala since she's protrayed as someone who likes Sam for who he is. But dammit, my MovieVerse TF OT3 is BeexSamxMikeala, so I would love to see that develop.

Before you mentioned Sailor Chaos (which I assume you're going with Stars), I was thinking Megatron teams up with the Negaverse. The only downside is they're also looking for energy, and I don't see that working, on their side of the 4th wall, because I see them eventually double-crossing each other. But that would also make great story ( ... )

They probably would double-cross each other. Both Sailor Chaos and Unicron would be inclined to just manipulate Megatron, the way Unicron is famous for doing to Galvatron in TF:TM, and Chaos to Galaxia Stars.

A better darkest hour methinks than TF:TM had (which only happened after Optimus got killed).

I live that Sailor Scouts Rejects comic.

Another thing that popped into my head was what would happen if Sailor Saturn fought Unicron? That thoughts been in my head since me and my friend discussed Magical Girl/Transformers crossover ideas.

Depends on what your thoughts are on Unicron's connection to Chaos. I have an impression that Saturn would not do well in a one-on-one fight with Sailor Chaos, so maybe trying to fight Unicron on her own would be rather risky.

On the other hand, if she could get in without Unicron noticing (probably needs a distraction from the Autobots and other Senshi) and pulled her most dangerous move - dropping the glaive - she could wipe Unicron out of that particular universe for a while (giving credit to Unicron for his multiversal nature).

That would probably make a great end for a fic.
