I've started reading 'Dune Messiah' and it struck me - Movieverse Ironhide is a Mentat.

interesting bunny. could be hard to do justice to the original work, but i'd definitely like to see someone try. ^_^

Keeping in mind I only know the story, and have never actually read it, I'm not sure I can see Ironhide as the mentat - he's more the bodyguard, typically - but Prowl, oh yes.

(and as a side note, i saw 'mentats' and immediately thought of the 'smart pills' from the fallout game series)
