I have to say that this is an AWESOME prompt, but if Cliffjumper can confirm the facts that the Autobot 'gives up' then doesn't that mean that they didn't really need the confession after all?
And also, what kind of frame style do you think Cliffjumper would have? (his Decepticon frame)
It's much less confirming the facts - which he isn't in the know completely on, and he's given his superiors what little he did - but more having learned each Autobot's tell. He's watched and lived with them too long enough to know by observing if they're telling the truth or crafting a lie to get something they want, and in this case the unconscious body language rings true.
I like to think something that's still small - I don't think he went from a full-sized mech to a minibot for the sake of an undercover assignment, that's pretty wild XD - and sleek. Maybe his original alt is more akin to a motorcycle....
I can't help but think of Mirage as either the one who made the deal or the deep undercover one. (cerebro shells were only used in that episode as a cover-up because they are medically traceable as an excuse why Mirage was working for the Decepticons).
You have now put this exchange in my head, and it must be written:
Cliffjumper stretched lazily, watching as the interrogator led the memory-altered Autobot back to the brig. "Can't say that I'll miss that cesspool of 'noble deeds,'" he mused with a satisfied smirk. "And I'll be so glad to get back in my own frame again."
Before any of the officers could respond - Starscream was tempted to remind the smaller mech that he had been the one to insist on a frame-switch before taking the assignment - Cliffjumper yelped as if someone had just groped him, which was confirmed by an amused snicker from the air next to him.
"I'll be glad, too. Your real frame is much more fun to molest than this one."
"Damn it, Mirage," Cliffjumper 'complained' as the invisible spy cut off his generator and reappeared in the room. "How many times do I have to tell you--"
"Not in front of the boss?" Mirage finished, giving the other a charming smile and looping an arm around his shoulders before turning to give his latest report to Megatron. And now, to go
