Just an idea that struck me about how Decepticon society is structured (G1 Seasons 1-2, that is - probably wouldn't work for a lot of other continuities but still interesting to think about.)

This is a very interesting point to bring up. I think I might be able to incorporate it into a current fanfic I'm writing, though it's in the TFA 'verse and I might have to mess around with a few things. But it's about a fan-made decepticon team of characters that did not appear in the cartoon anyway, so I can pretty much elaborate and speculate as much as I want for a fanfic like this.
