Hello all.  I've heard this is a great place to drop off bunnies?

I've been attacked by a line.  One single line (and so help me I'm trying to keep it that way.  I have other fics that need attention, kthnx Mr. Bunnies).

"Honest, officer, I wasn't driving, my car's an Autobot!"

My brain has thrown in G1 Tracks for some reason, although it really could ( Read more... )

I don't know about Raoul and Tracks, but there is definitely a scene in G1 where Spike got pulled over by a cop and was in trouble for driving underage and without a licence... until Bumblebee transformed and reassured the cop that he was the one doing the driving. The cop was all apologetic and willing to accept that Bee was a responsible driver.

....Well, that explains why G1 poked its head up and said, "Place quote here."

Although I swear at the time I had not been watching any Transformers G1 episodes. Was actually talking with a friend about a GPS unit...

Yeah, I recall it because agiftedmind and I have been slowly watching our way through G1 when we've been over at each other's places. That scene stuck in mind because it is exactly the sort of thing one would hope to see happen in a 'verse where the Autobots are reasonably well known to the general population... and an Autobot has a friend who doesn't have a driver's licence.

I suspect it is the same episode Carly was first introduced in, since it is notable that while Spike doesn't have a licence, Carly does (and also owns a car).
