1. G1. Chip studies Decepticon lore and finds old legends that sound eerily like apocalypse myths. The Autobots, not entirely willing as it borders on blasphemous, decide to try and psyche out the Decepticons with their own religion. The Autobots find one specific trait in all the versions of the old myth: The Decepticons will "be lost to their own tongue". Blaster learns the ancient Decepticon language (referred to from here as "Deceptroni", my own word* that I like 'cause it's short and cool-sounding) and finds a threatening "script" for the Autobots to chant en masse at the Decepticons. The other Autobots have to truly learn the language, as simply reciting it phonetically would tip off the D-cons. Ironhide, Cliffjumper, Sideswipe, (D-con-hating mechs of that ilk) are somehow all naturals. Deceptroni chanting has physical effects on Decepticons, including rusty welts and nausea. And that's just ONE Autobot; imagine the entire army...But one small thing that the text Chip studied forgot to mention was that everyone that learned and
