A) Oddly, that rather works in my mind. Hell, my mind even has worked out which of the command trine fits into which role (although I'm sure no one else will agree with me XD): Skywarp/mech, Thundercracker/femme, Starscream/carrier. Mainly because Screamer's bitchiness can be explained away by robot-hormones; it can't be easy carrying around a spark, after all, especially if the 'gestation' period runs for quite a while.

...holy hell, I've just gone and made him carrying for the duration of the war, haven't I? Eep, sorry, Starscream ^^;

Well, it also means he has a decent reason for acting cowardly every now and then as well, doesn't it. (Besides, if there's no thing I've learnt from this bunny farm, its that Starscream probably goes too giddy at the thought of a sparkling to be mad at you for it ^_~)

B) Creating sparks this way (as opposed to the allspark/vector sigma) is very rare. The sparks that are created this way always take triplechanger frames.

My first thought: Springer is the sparkling of Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus.

I had a bunny similar to that earlier, only I made it two mechs create, and femme's are carriers. I guess both work.

They does work too; I think the main idea in mine was that there are actually more than two genders.
