...I haven't actually read Dune. I've been meaning to, I swear! Where is this scene in the book/series?

And I'd apologize about the bunnies, but I've taken a vow of honesty. ;)

Naughty you, not having read Dune :-D!

LOL... JK. The scene where the medic's imperial conditioning was wiped was suggested through the first few chapters of Dune (The first book). The medic's wife had some nasty stuf happen to her and he snapped. That allowed him to plot wonderful stuff against one of the lead characters. Oooh, and he gets his revenge. I won't say how. Spoils the rest of the book ^.^ .

Be warned - some folks feel the book is rather dry. I loved it >:)
I should have MY nerd license revoked for not reading the rest of the series!

12. sparkbonds really didn’t have anything to do with romance or sex. They were originally used to mentor younger bots. Of course, the first time a mentor and his student had sex, that function swiftly went out the window…
This totally goes with my personal canon. *runs from bunny* GET OUTTA MY HEAD! I can't take anymore of you!

14. Fireflight has a little quirk. If one of his brothers is sitting down, he’ll wander over, grab one of their hands, and start manipulating the joints for no apparent reason. After a few years of this, the aerialbots don’t even notice. (Based on my older brother, who did the same thing with me.)
That is SUCH a cute mental image! My sister and I used to do that when we were small; I thought it was a normal sibling thing...

Heh heh heh...Ooops?

I think it is. My brother just carried on with long past the time either of us could be considered 'small'. (and then fireflight wandered into my head, with my brother's math textbook under his arm, and everything followed from there.)

flamingmarsh: My sister and I use to argue alot. My sister's boyfriend and his brother used to fight all the time. I mean it. Fists or bricks.

I'm sorry, I'm not sure what you're referencing. If you're talking about the Fireflight bunny, it wasn't suppose to imply conflict. Could you explain?

Admit it: Seekers are closet Firefly fans.

Oh yeah. You know Starscream got a lot of ribbing over that. Skywarp probably left little toy dinosaurs all over 'Scream's quarters. (If he didn't decide to go whole hog and kidnap- *pauses to review monologue* Grimlock.)

1.Perceptor smiled and nodded encouragingly, and mentally added the mechs name to the list of those who would be removed in the coming revolution.

Perceptor with a DeathNote! O_O

5. It wasn’t that Miles was afraid of Sam, but still. After Mission City, Sam had an edge to him he hadn’t before. It was like flopping down on the comfy sofa in the basement…and gradually realizing the odd lump he landed on was a loaded gun.

Miles wouldn't be able to comprehend what Sam went through. Even if he did know.
Sam has learnt and understood the saying 'to Leave Childish things behind' leaving a giant chasm in his friendship. It would be nice to read this, as there isn't enough of these two interacting or of a transformer stories using the 'formers as merely background.
Once I get my writing mojo back I may tackle this as a little one-shot. I like writing angst and character reflection.

Evil mastermind Percy is very scary. Megatron should be glad Percy decided politics were too boring.

The Miles-Sam dynamic interests me too. There's so much potential in it. (Not the least being the tension between 'the best friend from kindergarden' and 'the best friend who kept Barricade from killing me')
