Oddly enough, the way it's playing out for me, though there's little hope of redemption for the larger universe, Bumblebee actually does get his moment of grace, and a form of redemption in his death and a chance to save Spike from himself. (and in other random news, Huffer of all mechs has become the voice of moral clarity in this fic. He's already angrily informed Prime that he joined the autobots to 'do the right thing, fraggit' and that if Prime's going to do keep doing this then he'll just have to get used to fact that his army's going to be down a minibot. Permanently. I have no clue where crusader!Huffer came from, but I'm keeping him.)
