Allspark Almanacs

Does anyone know why the Allspark Almanac vol.1 & 2 are so expensive? They seem to be out of print, but the $100-400 each people are asking for seems more than a little excessive.

o_o Say what now? People are asking that much for them? That's absolutely ridiculous. D: D:

Yeah, I checked Amazon, half.com, ebay, and Barnes & Noble's website and none were less than $100.

That's odd, my local Chapters/Indigo store had at least three copies of volume 2 for about twenty bucks, and yet there it is, listed on Amazon for over a hundred bucks...

Huh. Good luck finding an American supplier not charging an absurd price for them.

Luckily, I already have a copy of both, but I just noticed the prices.

Ah, that's good. I think I may have to quickly grab one of the copies of volume 2 I saw at chapters before they're all gone.

it sounds like the same thing that people do with college textbooks -- over price them for the chance of an EXTREME profit. it's really dumb and frustrating.

Yeah. I wonder how many of them actually sell at those prices.

The second one's out of print too? Already?

My thoughts exactly. O_o Seems really quick for it to go out of print.

I really wanted to get both of them eventually, so I was really upset when I first discovered that the first was no longer available. And now the second too? I am disappoint.

I cannot afford spending 100 for a pair of books (and I really don't think they're worth that much either), so there goes my chance of ever getting them, I suppose. =/

It looks like you can still order them from someplace like Borders.com, they're just on backorder so it'll take 2-4 weeks for them to ship. They have them listed for $20 which is a heck of a lot better than $100. D:

You have the Republicans to thank for this.

Talk about the last place for polotics. I really doubt a few conservative groups are buying a couple thousand copies each like they like to do to boost someones book to best seller.
