Chapter 4

Wildrider twitched, then stared at the kangaroo’s head, not sure whether to be surprised or not. He’d heard that Optimus Prime’s severed head had managed to speak to Megatron once, so maybe organics could do the same thing.

On the other hand, it was always possible that that was another side-effect of his insanity. He had what Dead ( Read more... )

Wow, this was brilliant! I couldn't take my eyes off it for a second (and I really gotta pee!) You had my undivided attention with all those visions as you did Wildrider's. I squeed a little when I recognized the scene on Charr, and it made me wonder if Wildrider is some kind of precog, seeing an assortment of possible futures. I don't know where you're going with this, but I'm completely hooked. Can't wait to see the next chapter!

Glad you liked it! I have the next week off, so that should be enough time to write the next chapter, which will wrap up the story.

I had to laugh at Drag Strip - is this Wildrider's hallucination or his? LOL

I also really liked that Wildrider can't imagine being anything other than THE most loyal gestalt...but also isn't quite comfortable with giving up his life for the 'Cons. XD

Drag Strip's dream, Wildrider's nightmare. :) Because Wildrider can pound the 'bots and kill any humans threatening him... but he can't exactly do the same to Drag Strip.

The scenario where the Stunticons died to bring about a 'con victory is from an as-yet-unwritten story of mine - but let's just say that none of them expected to die or wanted to die. If they had known that was the price they were going to pay, they'd have happily gone along with Plan A - keep driving and don't look back.
