Ahahahahahahahaha! I'm very amused at the reaction to what was just a line or two tossed in - but that's what's been fun in getting to know these characters so well; they just up and provide you with stuff like that.
Beta is a character from one episode of the old cartoon - she was a rebel leader along side Alpha Trion back when he was still a slave bot to the Quintessons, called A3.
(BTW, the Spiral listed on Elita's team there IS the Spiral who was originally an AI and was part of Prowl's old cohort in Praxus. He does not know she's alive. The Earth bots know Elita and Chromia are alive, but Chromia wouldn't blab who the rest were.)

I'm far too tired to give you a proper review now, but it was just such a happy day when I saw that you had updated. Poor Breakaway. I'm so glad he has the gestalt. And hooray for a new gestalt!!! I can't wait to find out who they will be XDDD.

I love the plot twist with Beta. Way to go, old gal!!! And Chromia waving to them before making her descent, just in time to avoid the difficult questions was very smooth. Love love love all the teasing of Magnus. I feel like I'm repeating what everyone else said. Just hooray.

I feel lame, but can you remind me who Breakaway's progenitors are? My mind is sleepy.

Blades and Evac are Breakaway's progenitors. Sorry, it IS confusing, since the kids are more or less treated as their own by the whole tribe. ^.^ And there are about to be a whole lot more of 'em.

I... can't really feel upset about Beta's plans to be a suicide bomber, intrinsically horrifying though the concept is. She's going out on her own terms, and definitely getting some loving in beforehand.

Aside from all of the other more intelligent comments I should make about horrifying Galvatron is and these poor mutant creations of his (and wonder if the lack of love has something to do with it all), I just want to say that every time Kup says "heh" I get a silly sappy grin on my face.

The lack of love, loving kindness, and empathy has a huge deal to do with it. It's not really so much the Allspark allowing those horrors because it's passive and neutral, but Galvatron forcing it, even such a supreme tool as it is, to his unhealthy purpose. I'm getting a little more into specifically what this has been doing to Optimus now. Vector has seen what happens to Primes who've been broken by torture and he does not want that to happen to this Optimus. <3
