Long time reader coming out of hiding, in more ways than one. I got my first tattoo today, and couldn't resist putting a picture up here after taking off the bandage.

I want a Decepticon Tattoo so badly.... But I don't think I could take all the needles going in and out of my skin.

It honestly isn't as bad as people say. It kinda feels like a slight bee sting at first, but as the needle starts to go in and out, it really feels like a bad itch more than anything else.

My parents would still say no... And then there's the issue of it being permanent.

Maybe I'll just draw it on my skin with a marker or something. (Still so lucky...)

Oooh, I've been wanting one for awhile, but opportunity cost is the bane of my existence. (Opportunity cost = when making a choice requires foregoing all the choices you don't choose, and tattoos are the worst example of it for me: I have only so much body space, so many tattoos I can get, and the sheer number of designs I want is . . . well, narrowing them down is unlikely in the near future, and since I recently changed my mind about two that I'd wanted for a decade and more, I'm second-guessing myself a bit.)

I'd love to have a large Autobot symbol with portraits of various Autobots inside the lines of the symbol, and then a Decepticon one somewhere else . . .

I've seen pictures somewhere of somebody getting an excellent Starscream tattoo on I think their calf . . . I'd post the pictures if I could remember where I put them.

I have one. Its the best of my 10 tattoos. It's 9 of the autobots themselves, not the symbols. I hunted high and low for the perfect, most perfect artist to do it. I am still stunned speechless by the detail and the coloring. He got the door handle on Prowl's doorwing, for Primus's sake, as well as every tiny bit and piece of their armor. You dont know how many pieces they have until you're sitting under a tattooist's needle for 12 hours outlining each tiny square of autobot hottness! :)
