Prrrr.

I'll admit I thought slept with as in sleeping in, but halfway through I didn't care. I approve fully of this story, and loved the characterization; especially Barricade's needling about how humans are more like Decepticons than Autobots.

Technically, it's 'spent with' xD And I just double-checked to make sure I got it right in the title myself ('cause I fail with stuff like that more often than I'm happy to admit -cough-)

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I had entirely too much fun writing Barricade, so I'm glad he's IC :D

Will sincerely disagrees, and would like to shove an extra round of sabots into his spark at the first possible chance he gets xD Silly man. He's proving Barricade right.

Frankly I don't see the problem with it. LOL. Ironhide did say we're primitive and violent, and hell, we ARE! Why deny our animal nature? :D If it ends up kicking Decepticon ass, go for it! (heh, maybe THAT'S why Prime has us as allies, we'll do the dirty work. haha)

Loved it! I've been loving this series of yours, though I'm vaguely curious if you got the idea from me. If so, great! This was the sort of reaction I was hoping for all those months ago.

Will is such a BAMF!
Don't show weakness. Don't back down.
“I'm going to sleep. Try not to kill me overnight,”

I also loved hearing his mental survival processes,

Splintered, Will had noticed, not just broken, but he was not going to linger on that - he had a makeshift sling for it and three days worth of pills from Ratchet to keep infections at bay...The bug bites weren't too bad...the minor cuts and scrapes that he hadn't noticed until they had actually stopped for the night were healing already...There was some chance they would be healed enough to avoid infections by the time he ran out of pills, and as long as he kept from getting scraped again, he would manage. Unpleasantly, but he would manage. And the interactions between Will and Barricade were spot on. Barricades a bastard, but he's a clever smarmy bastard who just makes you seethe when ( ... )

Thank you very much! :D The very base premise came as a mix of Steelfeathers' fantastically awesome 'Instability' (in which Sam is made honorary Cybertronian as a way of protecting him - that bunny bit *hard*) and a few too many law classes that made me go 'huh' about Will's actions in RotF *cough* Yay, law! The 'Five' thing is an old, old love of mine from SG-1 in the good old days. Heeeh. I have read some awesome ones of those in that fandom. Good times, good times.

Barricade was surprisingly fun to write, and I'm glad he worked. He's a bastard, but he's a damn intelligent one of the kind, and Will and 'Hide will spend a long time cursing that slagging 'Con.

I'm glad you enjoy them, and thank you for commenting! :)

I was really worried at times Will might not survive the incident. It was a pretty good and exciting story. I really liked the reality of it, the realistic problems even a giant robot will have being stranded in a jungle.
I really liked it.

And I liked the characterization. Barricade is... not nice, I would use a swearword to describe him, but... I'll restrain myself. I'm sure you can guess, what I mean. He is no nice 'bot and probably never will and you kept him that way, which I really like. Barricade is loyal to Megatron, probably the most loyal to Megatron, he BELIEVES in him. I'm not so sure about a lot of the others... But he is the one I don't think of being redeemable, because he believes in what he is doing.
He also had some good points considering humanity, not that I didn't know that ones. It's true from a certain point of view.

Great Story :)

Thank you so much! I tried to do the research as well as I could, but at some point you just have to sit down, realise you're writing about a giant robot stuck in the jungle, and just go from there. It was good fun to write, that's for sure!

I definitely agree with you. Barricade is loyal to Megatron and probably always will be. A couple of days in a jungle in the company of a human won't change him in the least, and he'll be a pain in the aft to the Autobots even after he's taken prisoner :D Good luck to them.
