A rich femme voice tingled through Blaster's internal radio, and the red communications officer felt his transistors light up with anticipation. Finally some contact!!!
He quickly opened a secure channel with the femme commander.
[..//SECURE CHANNEL//..] Elita-1!! This is Blaster and I read you loud and clear! I have rendezvoused with Mirage approximately five hours north of the base coordinates in my possession. We're experiencing a minor delay due to technical difficulties, but we should arrive soon. How are things at home? Over. [..//END COMM//..]
The excitement and relief in the Autobot's voice carried clearly through the comm, and he could feel a few of his springs uncoil slightly with the tension he hadn't even realized he'd been carrying. He really hated not knowing where his unit was and what condition they were in.
Elita had to smile when she heard the excitement in Blasters voice. She had to admit to a certian about of relief herself she'd missed the sound of Blasters voice and when Jazz finnaly came onlike he'd be glad to see him too. Mirage too? That's wonderful Blaster. Things at base could be alot better. Please for Ratchets sanity stay in one peice. Both of you. Tell Mirage i look forweard to seeing you both agian.

Yeah, Mirage too. We're both intact, but Mirage had some minor damage that I can't repair. He was shot at during his planetfall, and doesn't know by who. Be straight with me Elita, please, what's going on? It took you guys way too long to respond to my call. It's not nice to worry your officers like that!
