Sam had actually been slightly annoyed when Bee just dropped him off and then left with hardly a word. So as soon as he was home he called Miles up to get that basketball game they had talked about, then he changed into something a but more comfortable, grabbed the ball and walked the short distance to the basketball field

He secretly hoped that he'd be able to keep this thing. It wasn't a bike, but there was something about owning your own method of motorized transportation that was, well, awesome.
It didn't take long until he was there, and sighted Sam. He beeped the horn to announce himself, then, grinning, pulled up just to the side of the lines. "Hey, Sam!"

"wow, I'm impressed Miles" he commented with a grin, following the ball and picking it up, standing right in front of Miles and is ride, it really was nice...but for some reason it flushed him with a sense of unease, he just couldn't put his finger on what it was, maybe if he had spotted the simbol, engraved neatly into the horn.
"it's really nice, you lucky" he laughed shortly, then straightened up and tossed the ball to Miles.

So, with nothing better to do, that’s where she was now heading. Once there, Mikaela managed to spot Sam and his friend Miles, but there was no sign of the certain yellow Camaro that she had expected to see.
Bumblebee isn’t with him, Mikaela noted with a frown. It was odd, seeing Sam without the Autobot, and she wondered if something serious was going on but dismissed the thought as quickly as it came to her and shook her head.
“It's...probably nothing. He probably just walked here like I did, since this place isn’t too far away from where he lives.” She muttered quietly to herself as she walked towards the two boys.
“Hey, guys!”

"hey Mikaela!" he waved her over, looking quite like the lovesick teenager he was, but also he was just relieved to have someone else there...especially someone who knew.

but it was another human, another thing to use as leverage if he had to.
Idily, he shifted against his stand, making small creak.
Fraggit... he could only hope that he did not draw the humans attentions.

Spotting the basketball courts, he quickly pulled over to the curb, and hopefully out of Rumble's scanner. After all the years that have passed, it was hard to gauge how far his scanner went.
Setting himself into park, he sent a message to the boy's phone, hoping that Sam would read it and get his aft over here as soon as possible.

"hey, 'kaela? didn't you say you had to be home early tonight?" he asked her nonchalantly, sending her a 'look' wanting her out of there.
The girl didn't say much in return, only nodded, though she didn't move

Rumble grumbled in his mind in annoyancwe. the human activity was over alraedy?
that was a pity, he was.. not enjoying watching the fleshlings. not at all. he was gathering information.
with one last scan of the area on passive - he missed bumblebee -, he shut down his sytems, intent on hiding now for a while. hopefully, his hostage-human would remain ignornat of him, thinking that he was just a scooter.
that, and he really, really needed to get his commlinks working again. stupid landing. why couldnt he have landed with boss?

He scanned his charges general area, noting two more life forms...Makaela...and Miles. This...was bad.
He sensed a scan fall over the area. He remained still as he felt the scan pass him. He relaxed once he noticed that Rumble wasn't peeling out of the courts.
He honked his horn one more time, in hopes that he was getting Sam's attention.
