New Beginnings (2013) Challenge
All right! Here is the 2013 New Beginnings challenge!
We're starting off the year with a mix-and-match format challenge. This is what those prompts and requests I asked for last week were being stockpiled for. (If you know you submitted a prompt or pairing but don't see it here, don't panic! There were so many for this round that I'm saving a few over for the spring challenge.) Submitting a pairing/prompt set did NOT commit you to the challenge automatically, and not submitting one did NOT disqualify you from participating.
As usual, The Rules apply (but they are simple). If you have questions, ask away!
The Rules
1. Choose one pairing off the following list, chose one prompt to go with it and claim in the comments. (Claims are for mod benefit, so we can have an idea of what to expect.) Prompts are numbered for easier claiming.
2. Create. (Art, fic, comics, photo sets and photo comics are all fair game this round)
3. Once you've created a piece, post. You may now repeat steps one through three as often as you like.
4. Fic must be at least 500 words long. Art can be any format, but comics, photo comics and photo sets must be 3 frames long. (I may tweak this in the future. This is the first time any photography has been allowed for a Rare Pairing challenge.)
5. Creative works are due by 11:59 PM February 20, 2013. The Mods will have a round up posted by the 28th. Please tag your entries with "challenge: new beginings 2013".
