Gosh.. Finally I have time to write report of cosplay event that I participated last Monday.. So sorry for waiting~
This event called "Animonster Aishiteru". Animonster is an anime-manga magazine that published in my country, Indonesia. This event is originally held to celebrate Valentine's Day. So there were also another competition besides cosplay competition, such as: love letter competition, crossplay couple, etc. But, I didn't join any competition because I just wanna have fun there and also meet with my friends.. Maybe next time when I have plan to cosplay again, I'll try to join a cosplay competition. Now, here's the report~ Hope you enjoy it.. ^o^ Anyway, before I forget, because there are too much photos, so I will make another 3 entry with photo only, each entry contains 10 photos (800x600 pixel)..
I arrived at 01.30 p.m. The event had started at 12.00, so when we (I went there with my friends) arrived, the place was already crowded. There was a lot of people with wonderful costume. There were some cosplayers made their own costumes with a lot of details, and they were really creative~!! I saw characters from Bleach (really, this manga/anime are really popular in Indonesia now), RAVE, Full Metal Alchemist, Naruto, Prince of Tennis, Kingdom Hearts, Dynasty Warrior, another manga/anime/game, and of course original idea/plan. I was cosplaying with two of my friends. We all were cosplaying characters from Samurai Deeper KYO. I as Hotaru, Telly as Yuya, and Eva as Shinrei.
After some minutes looked around, we started to walking around. Just like another cosplay events, if there were cosplayers walked around, there would be some people wo wants to take picture with us. We took a lot of pictures. Ne, with my geta, as I walked around, there were many people staring at me and asked, "How could you walk?" or "Is it hard to walk?" Haha.. Thanks God, I didn't fall!! But I slipped twice. ^^;; First, because the floor isn't flat. Second, I didn't see a cable on the floor. I just slipped a bit.. XD My geta is really eye-catching, isn't it? XD
The most difficult part is when a child asked me to take picture with him. I needed to squat! Aaa.. It was really hard to keep my balance.. And, this situation happened when I didn't have anything to hold on.. XD I didn't know what kind of expression that I showed when taking that picture.. Using escalator was also hard. But I can manage it somehow.. XD
I really impressed with some cosplayers. One of them is Kamen Rider team. They really had good costumes. I also like Sieghart from RAVE, Gaara from Naruto (he's very cute~!!), Mamoru Chiba from Sailormoon (wheew! I wish he's Shirota Yuu.. XD), and many more. There were also a lot of crossplay ( a boy cosplaying girl character, or a girl cosplaying boy character) -including me-. I met Tifa from Final Fantasy VII, and the one who cosplaying her is a man.. XD Wuah!! He really has slim body.. Lol..
I met with a lot of friends, old friends and new friends. And really had a great experience.. I wish I could cosplay again. There will be another cosplay event on April. But, I still don't know either I can participate or not. Because preparing cosplay really need a lot of time and energy.. and money of course.. XD And, as I am being one of the student council president candidate, so I think I won't have much time.. T___T But, I'll wait until the end of February. If I find the characters that I like, I maybe cosplay again.. XDD
