Oooh. Very nice. And I love that Teyla saved the day with her diplomatic skills -- vastly underused in canon. I loved the bickering, and the setting, and the good grammar, and everything, really. ♥

You left it there?? Aaaaaaah!

I adore the mystery of these aliens - who are these people and what about what they have to offer the rest of Pegasus? Did the Ancients know of them and if so, how did they interact?

A lovely, intriguing story!

Thank you so much! Apologies for this late reply. :)

As to the questions... I'm very curious about the answers, as well. When I was writing, I sort of had in my mind to add a little more detail about these people and their relationship to the Ancients, but it became too wordy and distracting, so I took it out. In what I'd originally written, the Ancients did know of these people - they were an old, long-established race when the Ancients came to Pegasus, and far advanced in terms of technology. They didn't interact with the Ancients very much at all, and the Ancient database has only a few records of them. The Ancients reached out to them as allies during the Wraith war, but they had already gone to ground. They are a pacific people who had outgrown armed conflict, and they were easy targets for the Wraith when the wars began. That's pretty much the extent of my notes, and there's not a lot of coherency there. Maybe I'll go back and explore them again at some point! :D
