I'm always afraid that if I even bring up the subject, it'll call attention to the fact that I'm one of the fatties, and the bullies will smell the blood in the water and descend upon me. It's so sad that this is the last form of discrimination that still seems to be accepted. The common thought is 'oh your fat, you can lose weight' ....well sorry, it's not as simple as all that. We have been so enculturated to think of a certain ideal that even if the PTB did something to try and change it, it would never happen. Honestly, sometimes I don't think people even know they do it. Women in general all feel they have something about themselves they don't like. Even the most beautiful, thinnest woman would say "oh, my arms are too fat" this is what has become of society. Throughout history there have been societies that have favoured rubenesque women. Even today, there are some cultures where being overweight isn't seen as something bad and is even preferred. Mauritanian Women(in Africa) are expected to be overweight(and are even force fed when they are children to make them so)if they want to find a husband. Now there is a whole other subject there regarding societal pressure but I won't go there for this discussion. Also,
