So then I got to wondering, who really cares that I'm "making homemade spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. Yum!"

I didn't post it, and I'm taking a break from the infernal Facebook to a great extent.

Hey Kim, I didn't know you were on Facebook. I hate Facebook too..... LOL... I wish everyone would come back to LiveJournal :)

Oh, yes ... I've been on Facebook a lot. Too much. :) I'm in a state of flux trying to find some time to come anywhere - probably Live Journal which remains my favorite spot - and say *anything* of more substance than what I'm getting ready to eat. I am so busy, and so worn out. But who isn't?

While they seem banal (and are I reckon) they can be kinda fun. I use twitter and link to my FB and don't really get on it all that often.

It is, it is ... I enjoy other peoples' stuff like that - just not mine. It's like ... I didn't care a whit about the post but just felt like an automatron fixing to post it just because I hadn't Facebooked all day.

I am taking a FB break because I was spending too much time there. I get stupid that way.

Hey, it's good to see you back on LJ. I tried FB for a few months but got so bored with it, I deleted my account early this year. Folks tend to talk about more meaty stuff on LJ and I have to say I do like it.

However... the homemade spaghetti and meatballs sound super yummy!!!

They were. Happy tummies all 'round. I do so want to get back to Live Journal! I agree with your assessment of the meatier musings taking place here. I have asked my Facebook crowd to write more in the "Notes" category - but no dice.

I miss ya'll writers around here ... I love writers! Meaning people who write more than "I'm fixing homemade spaghetti and meatballs ..." although Dan's right - that's okay, too.
