It almost sounds like the intial idea behind "To Kill a Mockingbird." Minus the Supreme Court and murder of the man, parts.

Thank you! I knew nothing of this case. Wonderful story. Yes, it should be taught, less as legal precedent than as an epochal event in legal history, like Marbury vs. Madison.
