I went running yesterday at lunch for the first time in about six months. I don't know why I stopped, but I started again because I want to try to get in shape enough to run a half marathon in mid-February in Galveston. I think I can do it, but I have a long, long way to go ( Read more... )

Protien and veggies would work for you, though. Pop a steam-in-bag pack of veggies in the microwave and cut the fat off whatever protein you're eating. And small amounts of carve are necessary, you know? It's how you dress them that gets you in trouble. I wish you all the best in getting started, and I'll even shake my pom-poms at ya! ;). (pep club, not cheerleading. Heh.)

My friend Sara decided a year or two ago that she was tired of (and embarassed by) being a picky eater, and decided to teach herself to enjoy vegetables. All of them. It worked remarkably well! We're actually writing up a piece on it for www.tasteodyssey.com -- maybe her technique would work with Graham?

I applaud your rededication to good health and lots of exercise. By the way, I really like the new font, background color and other changes you've made. It's a LOT easier to read.

thanks. I was thinking of redesigning entirely, but it was easier to just mess around a little with the colors and fonts.
