So I finally watched the Death Note movies!
I really liked them. =D They altered a lot for the sake of time (12 manga volumes/37 anime episodes into 2 films), but I think I actually prefer this adaptation better, skipping the whole middle arc and combining a few characters. Even the ending is changed but still very good. I think my mom might

I bet they changed the plot quite a lot to fit it into only two movies... actually I don't think there are many Death Note fans who like them since they compare them to the anime/manga. Well, nothing unusual I guess. I think Tatsuya Fujiwara/Light is kinda hot (he looks much better there than in the Battle Royale movies anyway) but IIIIIHHHHH..... L is the cutest! I'm totally drooling over him all the way... well, as I've already said. 8DD I love Ken'ichi Matsuyama in general but L is totally his best role. ^^

the movie did change a lot, but i'm not such a purist of a Death Note fan that i hate straying from the original at all. like i said, i actually really liked the adaptation and prefer the movies to the manga/anime, especially for people who aren't really into manga or dark stories.
i kinda expected Light to look more handsome, but L was really well-cast. i've actually seen ken'ichi matsuyama before. he played Shin in the first Nana movie. unfortunately, he was totally wrong for that role, and i was like 0_o ugh! =P

I'm pretty meh towards Light but I like L. He looks a hell of a lot like L. But anime/manga L definitely looks better.
I definitely had a WTF moment when I realized it was Chairman Kaga. I constantly blurted it out to anyone who would listen. But yeah, that man is very talented. :D

I'm like you. movie!Light was just okay, but movie!L was really cool (but still not as cool as anime!L XD).
Oh, when I found out it was Chairman, I flipped out and told everyone who knew anything about DeathNote, Iron Chef, or Les Miz. XDD
