Do we really have to run?

Well, it is physical education.

But what do you actually learn?

Physical coordination and teamwork, to start.

I'm just following the rules, Arrowny. What were you even DOING in there at that hour?

None of your business! Why d'you wanna know, anyway? I wasn't hurting anybody!

With some of the equipment in that lab, you could've hurt someone pretty easily.

I assure you, Mr. Eglamore, this is not necessary. I have everything under control here.

[True to his point, the...whatever-the-hell that is...somebody's Archon flipping its shit? Anyway, the big metal monster lashes around Eglamore's defense at the history teacher with a prehensile lash of some kind. Char calmly sidesteps the attack as if it was a leisurely backhand.]

In fact, if you'd be so kind as to get out of the way...

[He does stand aside, but as he does the white dragon glows and shrinks down to a bluish glowing sword and some extra armor that wraps itself around Eglamore appropriately, leaving him ready to fight.]

Like it was under control last night? Or the night before that?

Precisely! It's important to observe these things to find out where they're coming from and what they're doing. After all...

[Char's own hulking red humanoid-shaped Archon materializes behind him.]

...either of us could kill this thing in about thirty seconds if that's all that interested us.

[He sighs.]

You're not wrong. But I have a duty to protect the student body, and-

[The rogue archon lashes at Eglarmore, but is unable to penetrate his armor. He chops the end off of the lash with a lightning fast blow of the sword, causing it to recoil in pain as the wound drips with some kind of blue, liquid fire.]

-and I don't entirely trust you.

[Hector's not even looking at him. This isn't the first time he got in trouble]

What's the point? It's not going to stop anyone.

The POINT is that you can't just go walking around restricted areas at night without a care in the world! Aside from being against the school rules, those areas are filled with things that are extremely dangerous. You could have been killed.

I honestly expected better from you.

...

Least you expect something.

What I was doing is important, but I... can't explain it.
