It had been a long day, and since his return to the ship, Ed had been busy as ever. Bidding his latest customer farewell, he closed up shop and with a sigh, leaned against the table. Rubbing his eyes, he turned his thoughts inward.

Hey, Shiori... you want to take over for a while?

It would be appreciated. Do you think anyone will find us here?

May had met Ed Elric a few times, and that...was definitely not the one she knew. She hadn't known that...what?

Ed had a girl living in him?

All caution thrown to the wind, she stepped over to the door and knocked.

The sound of the knock startled Shiori out of her peaceful reverie as she threw up her hands in shock. She fumbled for her card which slipped out of her hands -- and slid under the front door.

"..." said Shiori, realizing that she was going to expose herself. Thinking quickly, she removed the jacket, throwing it into the cauldron and making her outfit a touch more feminine as she quickly threw the door open breathlessly and reached for her pactio card. "S-sorry I was tidying up! Hello!"

"Hello," Maydril said, though she was not smiling. "Who are you? What have you done to Ed?"

She hadn't invoked a shield yet, but the half-elf had made certain that her mental shields were very, very tight.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF! went Shiori mentally. She had seen her turn back, she had seen her! Oh crap oh crap oh crap!

"Um... that is to say..." stammered Shiori, realizing that she had been caught red handed so to speak. "Um... well he's..."

Turning a crimson shade in embarrassment, she bowed deeply as it came out in a rush. "I'm sorry May, I didn't mean to deceive you for months! Ed got repodded and he asked me to look after everyone in his steed!"

Which was just Shiori's luck as Asuna, making her way to Ed's place, happened to see what took place - Ed 'changing'...into the exact same girl she'd fought against, and had captured her!

If Shiori was listening, she might hear a loud "ADEAT!!" as Asuna would then literally burst into the place through the window, shards of glass flying everywhere as the girl held her sword in hand.

"What the hell are YOU doing here?! Trying another tactic that involves Negi again, right?"

"ACK! My store!" exclaimed Shiori in surprise as Asuna burst through the window.

Well technically she could fix it but still! "H-hime-sama don't get upset, I really didn't mean to..." She blinked as the second part sunk in. "No this doesn't have anything to do about Negi-kun, really!"

A beat. And she realized how bad this probably looked.

"I can explain."

"...You've been Ed ever since I got here, haven't you?!" Asuna jumped right to the point, resisting the urge to hold Shiori at bladepoint since technically she did have a bit of history with her.

"You made this for me...and you're the one I've...I've been with, isn't that right?" Despite her near-sensible answers, Asuna was trying to make sure her heart caught up with her mind. Or vice versa.

"Yes... yes I have." Tears formed in Shiori's eyes as she bowed her head. "I'm sorry, Hime-sama... but my heart still matters even if you won't accept this."

She looked up. "I love you."
