... oh... it's just an inter-dimensional spaceship...

*she sounds strangely out of it, and she's a bit focused on doing some maintenance on it*

...Oh. Huh, I never thought I'd see one like it. So you're an alien?

[Well if you're gonna do that--]

Infernape, I choose you!

[Infernape. He just had to have a fire-type.

Well, she didn't become Champion of the Sinnoh League for nothing.]

Use Razor Leaf!

Flame Thrower, go! [And this Ash isn't the trainer that is considered hax for nothing, either!]

[Okay, Razor Leaf isn't working. Terra's hurt pretty badly by the Flame Thrower (he is a grass-type, after all)--

And she mentally smacks herself. Of course.]

Mega Drain!

(Anna pauses, twisting her head to meet your gaze: as she does so, the helm on her ANIMa follows.)

I'm not sure if you'd believe all of it... basically it's a suit of armor.

So what else, besides the whole "suit of armor" thing?

Psychic energy. Love. The trust of comrades. Things like that.

You work with what you got.

When you think about it that way, it's...sorta like the bond between a Trainer and her Pokemon. There's a move that, if you love your Pokemon very much, will deal a lot of damage.

[Chika blinks, before looking over at Piyomon. Who's busy eating more food than anything has the right to eat. Yep, the giant pink bird is starving yet again.]

Oh, that's Piyomon. He's my digimon partner.

Like a Pokemon?

[She fingers the Pokeball in her hand.]

Kinda. Except not really. Other than the fact their monsters they really don't have much in common at all.

[Piyomon gulped down his food and turned over to Chika, before walking over towards the two girls.]

Hi! Who are you?

[Yes. The giant bird is speaking.]

[...That's something her Pokemon couldn't do.]

You can talk?
