Chapter Sixteen
“Kazu?” Jin shook the younger man awake. “We’re here.”
Kazuya slowly opened his eyes. “Where are we?” he eyed at what looks like a mansion’s door.
“My parents’ house.” Jin answered and got out of the driver’s seat. “Come on, you can get more rest in my room.” He said as he stopped in front of the passenger seat.
“Wait. What’s the meaning of this? Why take me here?”
“To lock you up?” Jin grinned manically then snorted. “Of course, not that! We’re only waiting for your passport and luggage to arrive and then we’re off to Canada.”
“Why?” Kame dumbly asked. “And for my things to arrive?”
“Isn’t it obvious? We’re going there to get married - like what should have happened months ago.” Jin smiled dashingly. “Having money does come with lots of perks, you know?” he smiled mysteriously.
“I didn’t know breaking and entering someone else’s home is now a perk enjoyed by rich people!”
“What breaking and entering?” Jin’s brows met in confusion. “Junno and Tatchan didn’t break into your friends’ home - they asked nicely to get your things there.”
“Nicely? You probably had them threatened just to get my things!” Kame whispered softly.
Jin didn’t pay heed to Kame’s comment and just dragged the latter out of the car and into the house.
“Wait! Your parents are not here, are they?” Kame nervously asked.
Jin smiled. “Why? Don’t you want to meet them?”
Kame didn’t have an answer and shook his head worriedly to indicate that he didn’t want to.
Jin sighed. “Don’t worry - they’re in Italy now.”
“Young master,” a butler greeted them as soon as they entered the house. “Your room is ready.”
“Great!” this time, Jin dragged Kame to the second floor. “You know, this is where I grew up.” He shared to Kame once they entered the room.
Kame glanced at Jin. “Why are you telling me this?”
Jin gave him a kicked puppy look. “Why shouldn’t I? Don’t you want to know things about me?”
“Jin, cut the crap.” Kame grumbled darkly. “You’ve let me go so why are you forcing your way in again?”
“I made a mistake when I let you go and I’m correcting it now.”
“How is kidnapping me and forcing me to a shot gun wedding correcting your mistake?”
“Kidnapping? You said you’ll cooperate with me.”
“That was because I was afraid to die in a vehicular accident!”
“I was not getting us into a vehicular accident!” Jin protested.
“Whatever.” Kame tiredly gave up trying to talk to Jin. “Where’s the phone? I need to call everyone and tell them that I’m safe. I also need to apologize to Haruka.”
“No! You’re not calling anyone, most especially Haruka!” Jin’s temper rose. “I’m not gonna let her give you ideas of running away from me!”
“What the hell are you talking about?” Kame asked and attempted to look for a telephone unit.
“Don’t test me, Kamenashi!” Jin coldly warned. “You don’t want to see me mad.”
“The hell I care! You want everything to be all about you, huh?” Kame’s temper also rose, matching Jin’s. “News flash - I don’t fucking care if you get angry! I still want to call my friends!” he glared at Jin. “And you don’t wanna see me mad either!” he said venomously.
Both men battled with their glares.
A minute passed and Jin gave in. “Fine!” He went out to get the cordless phone that he requested be removed from his room earlier that day.
Kame grinned victoriously and gave himself a mental pat for doing a great job of not yielding into Jin’s wishes.
“Here.” Jin handed the phone to Kame with a dark face.
“Thanks.” Kame looked meaningfully at Jin and the door.
Jin got the hint that he wasn’t wanted. He glowered and went out of the room and closed the door after him.
After making sure that Jin was not with in hearing range, Kame dialed Uchi and Ryo’s home phone number. “Shakkun?” he greeted when Hiroki answered the phone.
A shrilling shriek was the younger man’s reply. “Kazu!”
Kame winced but smiled nonetheless. “I just want to let you know that I’m safe and that Jin didn’t kill me so you don’t have to worry about him dumping my body somewhere.”
Uchi laughed. “Silly! Of course he won't! He loves you!”
Kame snorted.
“So how are things with the both of you? By the way, two men came here to get your things. They said Jin would be taking you away to marry you - but they failed to mention where exactly. Don’t I get an invitation, Ka-kun?” he pouted, although Kame wouldn’t be able to see it.
“He’s crazy!” Kame reacted strongly. “And what invitation are you talking about?! I want out of here but there’s no saying what crazy things he’ll do to get me back so I won't try to escape. At least, not yet.”
“Resistance is futile, my best friend.” Uchi teasingly said. “Especially since you have feelings for him. You may not even want to escape~” he said, amused at Kame’s predicament.
“Those are two different things!” Kame griped.
Uchi smirked. “Fine! Do the denial! But don’t waste out efforts in trying to bring you both back together!” he then hanged up on Kame.
Kame stared dubiously at the phone. “Uchi hanged up on me!” He irritably said and redialed the number.
Only to find the line busy.
Kame gave up trying to call Uchi back and dialed Haruka's number. “Haru?”
Haruka yawned as she greeted Kame back. “Hey. What’s up?”
“I’m still in one piece.” Kame answered and started apologizing. “I’m really sorry about what happened. Did the engagement go well?”
“It was great! And no need to apologize.”
After talking for a few more minutes, the two bid farewell.
“Finished?” Jin asked jealously from the doorway.
Kame raised his eyebrows at Jin and didn’t say anything.
Jin entered the room and forcefully made Kame sit beside him on the bed. “Look, why won't you forgive me?”
Kazuya grunted. “Have you ever asked for it?”
“Kazu-“
“You know, this is what I hate about you!” Kame cut Jin off. “The part where you just do whatever you want and not caring if you’re already stepping on someone else’s dignity.”
“I don’t do that!”
“Right. You don’t.” Kame sarcastically retorted.
“Kazuya… sweetie…”
“Don’t. Ever. Call. Me. That! You don’t have the right to call me with such endearing name!”
“Why not?” Jin couldn’t help but raise his voice on Kame. “Who’s got the right then?! This Haruka girl?!”
“What has Haruka got to do with this?”
“Shut up, Kame!” Jin pushed Kazuya and straddled the latter on the bed. “You have to accept the fact that you’re mine and nobody will ever dare to take you away from me or they’ll face my wrath!”
“You’re crazy!”
“I believe we already established that!” Jin grinned gleefully.
Kame, in a rage of overwhelmed emotions, cried.
Jin panicked. “Hey!” He let Kame up and embraced the younger man. “Don’t cry! I’m not that scary, am I?”
Kazuya cried harder and tried pushing Jin away from him. “I hate you! Get away from me! You… you… self-absorbed imbecile!” his efforts were futile - Jin has a strong hold. “Let me go!” he punched Jin’s chest.
“If you think that would make me go away, then you’re dead wrong!”
“Oh, I wish it would make you go away!”
“You don’t honestly mean that.” Jin said confidently and made Kame cry even harder. Jin moaned. ‘Shit! This isn’t working at all!’ he pulled away from his weeping partner.
Kame immediately scrambled away from Jin.
‘Oh yeah, this isn’t working at all!’ Jin was miserable. He left the room to give Kazuya some time alone.
Of course, he’s going to take precautions so that Kame won't be able to escape until they talk and clear things between them.

A/N: Aurgh! I thought this is going to be the last chapter! I don’t know why I keep stalling the ending! *cries* Forgive me?
About my training… I thought working for a bank would be a hard thing… but amazingly, it’s not~~ XD and I have so many crazy but lovable teammates! Because they know I was a Quality Assurance Analyst before, they keep calling me QA Kei, and I had the feeling that the QA conducting half of the training the same thing I did when I was still a QA in my previous company~~ XD felt a bit offended so I asked them specifically this rowdy kid named Joseph to stop calling me QA. So he then changed the way he calls me… he changed it to Master! *shakes head* And now, everyone including the QA calls me Master Kei! *cries* At first, the QA asked why they all call me master and they all answered it’s because I was a straight-A trainee! He just nodded and started calling me that too. *bawls* Oh, and then there’s this girl who loves anime and asked me if I knew how to speak Japanese because I mentioned being an anime otaku and a JE addict - not that they really understood what an otaku meant and what the hell JE was~ and I said no I can’t but I can understand, read and write a little. And that I studied Japanese for two months but because of my QA work, I couldn’t finish the course. She like… went Kyaaaaaaaaaaaa and then asked me for details where I went and how much the course was! *laughs* and she now calls me Kei-sama~ and yesterday, her boyfriend picked her up in the office and introduced me to him *laughs* it’s just my conclusion but I think it was her boyfriend who got her into anime~~ XD I personally think it’s cute - you know, picking up the hobby of your loved one? *gets bricked*
Uhmm… I ripped a page off my KAT-TUN 2008-2009 Calendar and placed it in my notebook so that if the training class gets a bit boring for me, I’ll be awake just by staring at them! And I almost didn’t finish transferring this chapter from the notebook where I write my drafts and into the word document because I kept staring at the newly pasted picture on my beloved notebook~~ XD I’m crazy, I know~~ next thing you’ll know, I’ll be ripping a page off of my 47 photo book! but,
isomethylwill kill me so I probably won't~~!
I’ll be lucky if someone reached this part of the A/N~ but if nobody remembered I doubt anyone would~ XD this is actually my anniversary~~ This day last year, I posted my first JE fanfic Breaking Boundaries thus, making me go back to writing fanfics after four years of just reading and reading them. Now I’ve have so many Akame-centric multi-chaptered fics pending to be finished! I’ve met so many people some who came and went away after, some staying~ through the things I write and who knew I was going to meet you all? Some of you now play an important part of my day-to-day life! It’s such a mysterious thing ne~? ^^v I miss talking to you girls on MSN~ I so hate not having internet access!
So, to another year of Akame fangirling? I wish we’re all still here next year~
Comments are loved!
