The library has Whale Rider, should I watch it?

And it looks to be a slow week. We could use someone to set an example of how the postings should look after the change. :-) If I smile really big, can I convince you?

YES! Seriously, it's on my top ten movies. New Zealand, native culture, grandfather-grandaughter relationship that isn't all happy, but gets worked out in ways, and is funny in parts too. The actres, Keisha Castle-Hughs? deserved the Oscar nomination definitely, and she was only 13 yrs old. re: RR ergh, it's Harry PoV and involved a booooring chapter of Remus trying to get him to talk. It's embarassing as I've got a great fun idea for a 2nd half, but the first is just boring so far. But I'm easy to convince, and have been contemplating embarassing myself by posting stuff I wrote a long time ago.

I've been contemplating posting the pagan holiday story I wrote for doomspark... which still creeps me out whenever I read it.

I'd love to revise the other remaining things I have and share them, but I just don't seem to put the effort in, and I have a low tolerance for embarrassment.

Thank you for the welcome. *smile* I'll definitely check out the Hermione/Remus and Hermione/Remus/Sirius fics above when I have time. I tried clicking on the Hr/R/S, though, and it took me to an error screen saying I didn't have access. Not sure what happened but it might be something with the computer here at work. *grin*
