i do use a dipping pen (gillott 303 nib, koh-i-noor penholder) and india ink (higgins, usually black magic but i used red for this one as well) for 99% of my stuff...blocked out stuff i do with the ink and a little paintbrush...and sometimes i use pitt artist pens, which i did use for the figure's outline here. i draw on bristol board or scraps of mounting paper from the art store junk bin.

i know you don't really use lj anymore, but i tried to email via an old address on yr website, but it didn't work.

i wanted to ask permission to use this image for an event i'm hosting in la. its a reading with five other girls at booksoup. mainly, i would be using the image on facebook for the event page and a few 10x13 posters. i would credit you and link yr website whenever the image was used.
