So it was even better than originally thought, What is better than finding out your car is really messed up and then finding out it will cost you alot less than you thought? The answer is finding out it will cost you even less than quoted! $124...I can't complain....I think I found a trustworthy mechanic in Longmont.

Me too! I was so worried for awhile. As far as the mechanic goes I think I got lucky. I am usually the one taking care of getting repairs on our vehicles and being a woman does make it more challenging to find an honest mechanic.

Oh yes, having 2 sisters myself, I know that only too well. I've seen some unethical shit from mechanics with them and always get drug along to set the guy straight. Well, it's definately a bonus now with both of your vehicles going down again. Good luck!

Glad someone got a better deal than imagined... my car will be $1600 to rebuild the transmission, so feel lucky indeed....
Strangely enough I havent really been that inconvienced without a car, and its been kinda nice to walk around and such...but taking the Greyhound to from here Denver on Fridays is the most boring ride ever...
