A very long entry detailing last weekend's adventures

Not knowing about US-specific holidays,I was not aware that I would have this Monday (the 19th) until midway through the week before. However, holidays down here don't work the some way they do in the land of ice and snow. Not everybody gets the day off, and those who do work are not entitled to extra pay. Have you gotten used to 1 dollar bills yet? I still find it odd to be given bills for change < 5 dollars.

Have you guys tried an In and Out Burger yet? It's a chain that's only in California and they are fantastic. Reading about walking the Piers reminded me of it from my trip down in the summer.

I love cookies! Yay!

Indeed the one dollar bills are quite weird, and make hard to gauge how much money I have in my wallet at a glance. I've also come across a couple one dollar coins.

I have not tried 'In and Out Burger', but perhaps I will, even though the name is distubing on many levels (especially having read A Clockwork Orange ).

I try to avoid thinking of that movie/book, but I'm sure the chain was around long before anyone had deciphered that tome.

I promise you a good tasty burger! Thought the In and Out on the Wharf is near the Hooters.
