If it really pisses you off just tell them. When I first moved into my house everyone called me Kaitlyn because that's what the name tag on my door said. I didn't tell them until a week or so later that I preferred Kate because hearing everyone call me Kaitlyn REALLY started to get on my nerves lol. Same deal at work.

Mmm free food and yay for decent weather. Kingston is just icy and of course the student ghetto has not been salted.

I was going to whine about how you people whose familiar names are a prefix (at least phonectically) of your legal names have it easy because sometimes people catch on, For example, Dan's coworkers asked if he preferred Dan or Daniel, but I guess its not that much better. I tend to do the opposite, truncating people's names whether or not they like it.

Anyways, say hi to Canada for me and be careful on those icy sidewalks.

I'm enjoying the 10 degree weather. I can wear my long sleeve shirts with impunity! Granted, I'm getting rain galore while it's happening....

Tomorrow you should definetly tell everyone , "Please, call me Tess(a)" espesially if it weirds you out. It won't make a fun co-op term otherwise.
