So, way back in 2005, before I started having computers blow up on me right and left, dessert_first and I started writing this. We originally began a post-Serenity fic, but we got depressed by the lack of Wash. So this. And, there was moving and working and stuff. Of course, Dess likes to write in present tense, and me, not so much, but I'm fixin' to capitulate. We used to IM each other when we co-wrote and I'm just sayin', I wish I had saved the brain-storming!

Naw, it's cool. We already switched the whole thing over to past, anyway.

IM and my computer kept dying on me! Do you remember that one "Lindsey gets cranky and fucks a bunch of people" story that I wrote you on IM and then WE LOST because neither of us thought to save it and my connection fritzed out?

Ooooooooh, my. I love Mal's rational about *why* he 'let's' Jayne manhandle him. And Inara coming to talk to Jayne. And Mal's reaction to 'undergarments'.
