OMG!!! I just turned on the laptop, read your message and ran over! OMG!! The tension in this is killing me..... I love what you've done with this; you've improved on what happened in S5, and it just makes so much more sense than Joss' story.... :-)

I'm glad to see Faith here - because I could never believe that Faith would abandon Angel. Also: I LOVE the Spike/Faith chemistry. :-)

Damn. That's some gorgeous imagery. The whole opening part, with the remembrance of the pony... excellent. Color me impressed.

And I love what you're doing with the alley fight. All this flowing around Sunny - her reactions are just great.

Poor Wes. You really painted a picture there, with him hanging from the shoulder harness. Brrr..

I like your take on NFA much better than JW's.

I don't think Sunny's going to be able to save all those people.

It makes sense that Faith would think that Sunny was a slayer.

Flashes of lightning, moment by moment. I have a deep affection for NFA, but it adds so much to have survival be the goal of at least some of the players. Is it Montaigne who said something like, don't worry about dying, everyone manages to do it successfully when the time comes? Well, dying in a battle with an army of demons isn't nearly as suspenseful as trying not to. This is all crackly and nervewracking, and I love it.

okay, so I haven't started 'Running with Scissors' yet (I'm doing that after I comment. But I spent yesterday afternoon reading 'The Sunnydale Wholesale Hair Supply' story and loved it to death. I loved the story board Alice in Wonderland feel, the unrequited love filled with HUGE amounts of UST. Sunny's characterization and teenage angst was right on target, and I truly enjoyed her relationship with Willow.

Okay, that was the praise portion, now for the begging. When I was reading the story from your memories, four chapters of the story (major ones, like when Brooks tells Sunny he loves her and then leaves) are either missing or the links don't work.
Any chance you have it archived elsewhere or are able/willing to repost the story (sadly, I don't remeber which chapters didn't work, pretty sure 28 was a non-working link (got the 401 message from livejournal when i clicked it)

I LOVE YOU AND YOUR WRITING (in a purely platonic non-stalkerish way, promise)

please help?

I think it's one of the fanfic links on the side of my page. I'll take a look at 28...SWBS was the first BtVS I wrote, but I didn't post it right away.

It's also on the Better Buffy Fiction Archive site, but I don't have a link to it.
