Yay, Faith! And woot, Faith/Angel! This should be interesting.

For some reason, it never occured to me that they got it on during that fake-soul-loss bit. Hmm! It does make sense, now that I think about it, and boy howdy does it add another layer to the whole body switch thing later too. Makes Buffy's anger about Faith in LA that much more relevant too.

It makes you wonder about who the hell is on the water boards. I mean, come off it. Ventilation, lights, catwalks. If you didn't mind the rats and the smell, the temperature was usually constant. That's why some clans of demons had condos down there, actually.

Yes, one does wonder. Brrr...

He got the redemption, because Angel signed it away so he could take down the Senior Partners. So, of course, Spike got B., too.
I just felt all tighthroat reading that...conflicted brain pain.

used to talk about that stuff to Angel, though. He'd done things a lot worse than I ever did. He understood me. And I think I trusted him, because he wasn't going to be killed; he wasn't going to leave me or betray me.
You almost want to hug her....but you can't, and she probably wouldn't let you anyway.

This whole thing was great D!! Can't wait for the rest!

First off, lovely fic. I think you have a great Faith voice.

Secondly, a slight nitpick about F/A being canon:

From Sanctuary (AtS 1.18)

FAITH
All my life, there was only one person who tried to be my friend. Who went out of their way. When I had no right or reason to expect her to, and I screwed her. Not to mention her boyfriend. Only him, literally.

ANGEL
Faith -- you and I never actually...

So Faith/Angel is still UST.

I wanted to tell you that, "actually, " I think I should have left canon as canon! I think, for the purposes of Faith/Angel as I write 'em, I don't think they'll ever get in bed and it would be better if I hadn't stuck teh sex as backstory. Sheesh. But I won't retcon myself.

(Maybe I can play with Angel's "actually" a little)
